Japanese Offices

I already mentioned how I noticed few waste baskets. So here are few other things I notice that are different.




-the lights turn off automatically at 12 noon to signal to stop working and have lunch



-Music comes on at 7:50 AM and the announcer leads an exercise regime. Out of the 4 co-workers only one got up to do them.



-The conference room entire walls are white-boards, which are awesome.

-They have no cubicles, so you can look eye to eye to the person at the desk opposite you. And most people sit ram-rod straight backed

-They use two receptions that sit like robots everyday and don’t seem to even talk to each other. Very different from receptions in America
